Pioneer announced its new line of KURO plasma displays which boast black levels 5x deeper than the line’s predecessor .
The company has used the line to develop a plasma TV that can achieve true black. Television and movie viewers will agree that deep black creates a crisp picture with more defined contrast, making for a better viewing experience. True black also allows television manufacturers to create deeper colors as well.
The KURO line also incorporates six new sound settings into each video display to allow home theater owners to customize their audio experience.
