NAD Electronics has been awarded the 2008 red dot design award for the product design of the new компютриVISO Five DVD/CD Surround Sound Receiver and the VISO TWO DVD / CD Receiver. This international award will be presented June 23 to NAD Electronics in a formal ceremony at the Essen Opera House in Essen, Germany.
The two new products won in the product design category for their high quality product standards and innovative and creative designs. The award was determined by a 24 member panel of design experts from around the world. The company beat out 3,203 other products from over 50 nations.
Winning this award could have lasting implications on the products’ sales in the coming year. According to Professor Dr. Peter Zec, the founder of the red dot design award, “Receiving an international honor, such as the red dot award, he noted, is an important indicator of whether a product has the potential to succeed internationally.”
