Contemplating outfitting your home theater system with an HDTV but are hesitating because there just isn’t enough programming put out in high-def to make it worth your while?
Wait no longer my friend. Starz is launching three new high-def channels that will be available by the end of the summer. The new channels will consist of the east coast feeds of Starz Comedy, Starz Edge, and Starz Kids & Family.
“The three new HD channels together with Starz HD will present a robust lineup of HD content to satisfy our HD customers,” said Starz Entertainment President and Chief Operating Officer Bill Myers. Myers stated that HDTV owners will be able to watch “such great films as Cars, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby in full HD.”
High-definition channels available or in the process of launching include a channel from MGM, four from Disney, and potentially two from Fox, a movie channel in addition to FX. This growing list of HD channels makes the perfect time for buying an HDTV right about…. NOW!
