One of the easiest ways to improve the quality of your home entertainment system is to update the cables that tie the equipment together. Typically, the cables that are shipped with your home theater receiver or speakers are the poorest quality the manufacturer can use without tarnishing their name as an audio/video manufacturer. By spending an additional $20-$30 to upgrade your system’s scarts and interconnects, you can improve the performance and sound quality of your entire home theater. After all, if you spend the time and money to find the exact DVD player, amplifier or speaker system to suit your needs and the room you have envisioned, shouldn’t you also take care in purchasing the cables that allows them all to interact with each other?
