In-Wall Speakers | The Next Great Speaker Option
In-wall speakers are becoming more and more popular as people move to more streamlined home theater designs. In-wall speakers save space in your home theater room as they do not need a cabinet or shelf to house them.
The quality of in-wall speakers can be just as good if not better than standard in-room or standing speakers as long as you purchase from a quality brand with a good reputation. Depending on the size of your room and your budget you can choose to purchase two basic in-wall speakers or an entire full surround sound speaker package. You will want to place your speakers in the wall, about ear level, to optimize the sound quality in rooms used for movie and television watching. Ear level is typically around 40 inches up from the floor. Additionally, the speakers should be placed about six to twelve feet from each other to ensure the best sound quality. In-wall speakers can also be painted to match the colors of your home theater, making them aesthetically pleasing.
