A new eCycling program has been adopted by state legislators which effectively puts a requirement on all TV and electronics manufacturers selling in Oregon to pay to have their products recycled when needed. This means that Oregonians will be able to drop off old CRT and LCD TVs as well as other electronics off at recycling sites at no charge. Additionally, the program ensures that the computer and TV recyclers follow environmental guidelines for their disposal.

If you are looking to purchase a home theater system it might be wise to stick with purchasing an “all in one home theater”. As the name would imply, this type of home theater system leaves nothing out and that way when you purchase the item you will have all the components necessary for a solid home viewing experience. An all in one theater system provides speakers, a subwoofer, DVD player, VCR and, of course, a television set in one complete package. These items are all compatible with one another and gel quite well. All in one systems add ease and convenience to the home theater installation process. A number of top of the line manufacturers produce these sets so quality does not have to be an issue if you know what you are looking for. Talk to your consumer electronics retailer about how you can get a quality home theater system in a all-in-one system.
