Robert Heron of PC Magazine is quite impressed with LG’s new 47LG60. This 47 inch LCD flat panel television was highlighted in the magazine’s recent August edition as one of the best LCD TVs they’ve ever seen. The TV boasts full 1080p screen resolution, easy access menu and picture controls, and a 1188:1 constract ratio. The reviewer was also pretty jazzed about the HD video processing capabilities. Thanks to the development of the internet, people now have the ability to connect with each other from all parts of the globe, allowing commerce to flourish easier than ever. This means even the average person can sell a used item on the net and pull in a few dollars rather than simply throwing stuff away or storing old things in attics to rust and waste time. While there are always great deals when it comes to buying used there are also problems that should be looked out for.

When you first lay eyes on a plasma flat screen TV it seems almost wondrous. The reason for this feeling of awe for most people is the wonder of how something so thin can operate as a television set when older models seemed so big. Consumers are still invariably familiar with the classic cathode ray television set which, of course, was boxed shaped and filled with components. The plasma screen television set does not use a bulky cathode ray which eliminates the need for a square compartment to house so many components. The technology that replaces the cathode ray in a plasma television creates a much clearer and crisper visual feed. Plasma televisions can be found fairly inexpensive these days as more manufacturers are gearing up for the digital transition in 2009. The cost is definitely worth while if you are still using an older CRT.
